With the dawn of 2025 around the corner, it’s high time for Americans from sea to shining sea to break out their share of resolutions for the new year. Most of them centered around ways to improve oneself as the calendar flips over, and the land of Michigan online casinos is no exception.

In states such as Michigan, we can glean a lot about what types of resolutions Great Lakes State residents are shooting for based on search interest scores.

Heading into the last month of the year, people are thinking about what they accomplished in 2024 and what they want to achieve in 2025. At BetMichigan.com, where you can find top Michigan online casino bonuses, we used Google Trends to find and rank the top five most common New Year’s resolutions for Michigan residents. The search was conducted from Dec. 1, 2023, to Jan. 2, 2024. The ranking is based on search interest score.

What Are Michigan’s Top NYE Resolutions?

Based on search interest scores, we can determine that Michigan residents have a desire to save money in the new year, with the age-old fiscal edict scoring 89 search interest points to beat out traveling and reading more.

Of those two, traveling more beat out reading more by 12 points, with the former finishing at 86 points while the latter wound up at 74 points. People were more resolute about those resolutions than volunteering more (60 search interest score) and losing weight (55).

Based on those totals, it’s safe to say that Michigan residents have their fair share of things that they want to work on come 2025. There is no shortage of resolutions to choose from as January arrives at month’s end. And if you resolve to find the best Michigan sports betting coverage, then you don’t need to put it on your 2025 list because you already found it at BetMichigan.com.
