We then reached this list of top five beaches that people are looking to visit in MI.

Which Beaches Do Michigan Residents Love Most?

Based on online search interest scores, South Haven Beach in Van Buren County is Michigan’s most popular waterfront space. That beach had a search interest score of 33 compared to other topics, according to our research over a three-month span. That was just one point ahead of Grand Haven Beach down the road in Ottawa County.

Throw in Tawas City Beach in Iosco County, which drew a search interest score of 9, and you have the top three among this year’s most popular Michigan beaches.

Torch Lake Beach on the shores of Grand Traverse Bay being the next closest, with a search interest score of seven, and Belle Isle Beach (6 score) rounded out the top five.
